Amateur “HAM” Radio Entry Level Classes

On September 20, 2005, at 7:30 PM, in the Town of Babylon Emergency Operations Center, located in the basement of Babylon Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Highway, North Lindenhurst, NY, the Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club is starting a new set of classes designed for persons interested in getting into Amateur (HAM) Radio. The classes will cover material for persons who are interested in getting their Technician License. The classes start at 7:30 PM and end at 10:00 PM.

Pre-registration for the classes is not required but is suggested. The classes are scheduled to start September 20, 2005 and continue for 10 weeks. All persons attending should have the 5th Edition of “Now you are Talking” which can be picked up at any local Radio Shack Store, or they can obtained at the classes. There is no additional fees for these classes.
