Modern Yachts is an up-to-date facility with over 30 years experience servicing boats 16 to 60 feet. Established in 1977, we are proud of our reputation for quality custom work, hull and interior modifications, as well as routine preventative maintenance service.
Our location on the Shinnecock Canal is unique, as it offers boatmen a well protected safe harbor as well as easy access to Peconic Bay, Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. There are several beautiful beaches located at the north end of the canal within walking distance from Modern Yachts. The town beach, on the east side, also has bathrooms, a snack bar and children`s playground. This famous waterway and surrounding area truly lives up to the settler`s name of `Good Ground`.
